I am an astronomer at the University of California at Davis. My research is focused on understanding how galaxies form and evolve throughout the history of the universe, and the impact of galaxies on their surroundings. Most of my work is based on observations of distant galaxies collected with large telescopes, including the Hubble space telescope and the twin Keck telescopes on Mauna Kea.
